First of all, you will need a roof rack or truck bed rack that can support 140 pounds of weight. Essentially, the Voyager Roof Tent is virtually universal – fitting all roof racks or truck bed racks with a 140-lb plus weight rating.

On the other hand if you want a pickup truck bed rack, you may be able to use something like this elevated Hooke Road bed rack. Its unique design cleverly maximizes cargo space too.
Note: Many people have also installed these rooftop camping tents on SUVs, crossover vehicles (like a Subaru Outback) and even small trailers. You just need crossbars or a roof rack that have a 140+ lb weight rating.
How to Set Up the Camping Rooftop Tent:
First, remove the tent cover. Next, attach the side ladder. Finally, pull the attached straps to deploy the tent and secure them to your vehicle. Dis-assembling your roof tent is just as easy.
