The cool thing about daypacks and camelbacks is that you can use them for much more than just hiking and camping tips. They range in price from cheap to expensive, but it makes more sense to get something you really like if you plan on using it more often.
For example, I actually started using my camelback as an everyday bag, since it had lots of different pockets and divided compartments that were just the right size for my everyday needs. I simply take out the bladder when I don’t need it. A well-made pack will last years, even if you use it everyday (like me), so in my opinion, it is money well spent.
